Biography
Based in Houston, Mauro Gimenez specializes in serving clients in the upstream, midstream and oilfield services industries. Mauro has experience conducting Board, C-Suite and SVP level searches for public and privately held companies alike. Previous Experience Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Mauro was an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, he worked across the upstream and downstream businesses with international and national oil companies, independent refiners and oilfield service companies, helping them develop growth strategies, manage large capital projects and achieve operational improvements. Previously, Mauro worked for ExxonMobil. Additional Professional Activities Mauro is a member of the Board of Governing Directors of the Houston Symphony, where he serves in the Governance, Nominating & Leadership Committee. He is also an Interviewer for Harvard College in the Houston area. Education Mauro is a chemical engineer and has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
