Samppa Nylund

Biography

  Samppa Nylund is a member of the firm's Industrial & Natural Resources and Technology Sectors. He serves clients across industry sectors, with a focus on advising organizations undergoing transformation and strategic change. Samppa is based in Helsinki. Previous Experience Before joining the firm, Samppa was with Bain & Company, where he advised industrial, technology and consumer product companies on their strategic, operational and organizational issues. Most recently, he developed his own venture, which focused on education programs on entrepreneurship, leadership and career planning. Earlier in his career, Samppa led the Moscow office as the regional manager (Russia and CIS) for a technology company which supplied network infrastructure to telecom operators. He began his career at a software startup company. Recent Client Experience Samppa has recently completed CEO assignments for listed and family-owned technology and industrial companies. He has also led searches for CTO and CMO roles in media and pure-play digital businesses. In addition, he has conducted CFO assignments for private equity-backed companies. Education Samppa received his M.Sc. in Engineering Physics and Mathematics from Helsinki University of Technology, Finland. He is fluent in English and is conversant with Russian and Swedish.
