Richard A. Heinick

Biography

Mr. Richard A. Heinick has been Chief Executive Officer and President at Calhoun Vision, Inc. since March 30, 2015. Mr. Heinick served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President at AECOM Technology Corporation since May 20, 2014. He leads AECOM Technology Corporation's worldwide human resources organization and is responsible for driving its global human capital strategy across the 45,000-employee enterprise. Mr. Heinick served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President of Bausch & Lomb Holdings Incorporated since January 2011. Mr. Heinick served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President at Bausch & Lomb Incorporated and built a people strategy focused on developing high-performing employees, driving employee engagement and delivering business results. With more than 25 years of leadership experience, he has developed expertise in helping to revitalize organizations to enhance profitability and growth. Mr. Heinick served as Corporate Vice President of Global Human Resources and Transformation Officer at Bausch & Lomb Incorporated since January 4, 2011. He has responsibility for building systems and processes to align and energize Bausch & Lomb global workforce while developing a culture of high performance. Mr. Heinick served as a Senior Partner with Schaffer Consulting from 1995 to 2010, where he advised executives on organizational transformation and people issues. He was an Advisor to a number of multinational companies in the health care sector during his 15-year tenure with the Schaffer, including Bausch + Lomb. Prior to Schaffer Consulting, Mr. Heinick was the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and President of PPS, Inc. (Personal Performance Software). Most recently, he advised Merck & Co. on its $41 billion merger with Schering-Plough. He began his career with Mercer Management Consulting. He serves as a Director of TearClear Corp. He serves on the board of directors of Amydis Diagnostics, and has served on the boards of the Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Rochester Business Alliance. His work has been published in leading publications such as Bloomberg Businessweek, Chief Executive Magazine and Pharmaceutical Executive, and he is a frequent speaker regarding organizational transformation and M&A. Mr. Heinick holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications (Organizational) from Boston University, and a Masters of Management (International) from McGill University.
