Biography
Dr. Roberts serves as chair of the Education Department where she teaches Writing Across the Curriculum, Classroom Management, and the Integration of Reading and Writing. She has conducted more than 100 scholarly presentations nationally, internationally, and locally. She has had 15 publications in scholarly journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. Dr. Roberts serves as a reviewer for three journals and a referee or proposal reviewer for numerous conferences. Since coming to Saint Leo, Dr. Roberts has been principal or co-principal investigator for grants awarded totaling more than $400,000.00.
Research Interest
Teaching & Professional Interests: Dr. Roberts’ research interests include writing pedagogy, writing across the content areas, pre-service teacher development, and the integration of technology into effective instruction. She presents internationally on the topic of developing faculty capacity to use technology in their teaching.
