Biography
Derek Mohammed holds the rank of Associate Professor, and is the Chair of the Computer Science Department, and the Director for the Center for Cybersecurity Education. Prior to joining academia he worked in the public and private sectors, where he held different IT positions with increasing responsibilities. He hold several industry IT certifications, such as, CISSP and CISM, and is a reviewer for the Journal of Information Security: A Global Perspective.
Research Interest
Cybersecurity Compliance, Network Security, Cloud Computing, and Information Assurance.
