Thuy Lan Nguyen

Biography

Thuy Lan Nguyen joined the Leavey School of Business in the Fall of 2014 as an Assistant Professor of Economics.  Professor Nguyen’s specializations are in macroeconomics and international macroeconomics. She is the author of multiple papers studying the sources of business cycles in both closed and open economy settings.  Before joining Santa Clara University, Professor Nguyen was a Faculty Fellow in Columbia University’s economics department. She has taught in both graduate and undergraduate classrooms and presented her research at seminars and conferences.
