Vincent J. Ryan

Biography

Mr. Vincent J. Ryan, also known as Vin, served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ChangingWorlds Ltd. Mr. Ryan co-founded Schooner Capital LLC in 1971 and serves as its President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman and has managed for four decades. He is the Founder of Iron Mountain Inc. He is the Founder at National Hydro and Arch Mobile Communications. Prior to November 1995, he served as the Chairman at Iron Mountain Inc., and served as its Director from 1990 to November 1, 2014. He served as a Director of Continental Cablevision, where he invested and served on the board for more than two decades until 1996. He serves as a Director, Chairman of Finance Committee and Member of Nominating and Governance Committee of Iron Mountain Canada Operations ULC. He served as a Director of Marine Biological Laboratory, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Physicians for Human Rights, Survivor Corps (formerly, Landmine Survivors Network). He is a Member of the Board of Associates of the Whitehead Institute. He is a Trustee at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. In 1996, he created The Schooner Foundation. Mr. Ryan also chairs the Advisory Board of the Carr Center at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He is a graduate of Boston University.
