Kenny Seamon

Biography

Like many of the landscape architects at SW+, Kenny is a graduate of the University of Georgia. After graduating from college, he worked in both Atlanta and Nashville before making the move to Charleston. In 1982, Kenny and Stuart Whiteside, coworkers at a large design firm, decided that it made more sense to work for themselves than for someone else. Partnering with a local architect they embarked on an entrepreneurial path, establishing their own practice. In 1985, they realigned the firm as a partnership and have never looked back. When not working, Kenny spends his time hunting, fishing, and riding his dirt bike. He also enjoys spending time with family, especially his new grandson.
