Biography
Mr. Schmitz has served as Chairman and CEO of Select Energy Services since 2007. Mr. Schmitz founded Peak Oilfield Services, LLC in 2007, and the company was transformed into Select Energy Services under his leadership. Select Energy Services has experienced significant growth and transformation, both organically and through the strategic acquisitions of oilfield services and technologies. A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Schmitz has founded and developed numerous successful businesses in the oil and gas industry including HEP Oil Company, Complete Production Services and Brammer Supply. Founder and Chairman of HEP Oil Company, an exploration and production company that owns interest in over 1,500 producing wells Founder of and served as the North Texas Division Manager for Complete Production Services. Board member of Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. President of B-29 Investments helping to provide financial capital to Select Energy Services Founded Brammer Supply in 1983 and transformed company over 20 years into BSI, an integrated wellsite services provider Past President of Cimmarron Gathering, LP, a midstream company focusing on natural gas and crude oil gathering.
