Biography
Mr. Hansrote has over 30 years of experience in project management, having spent the first half of his career working on nuclear power plant projects, and the second half working on first-of-a-kind nuclear facilities. Prior to joining SHINE, he served most recently as the Executive Director, Nuclear Dismantling & Decommissioning for CB&I, Power Division, and has also successfully managed large-scale projects at Sellafield in the UK, Urenco’s National Enrichment Facility, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Hanford, among many others. He has substantial experience in engineering, purchasing, contracts, project controls, and construction. His previous project scopes of responsibility ranged from $100 million to $3+ billion, with limits of authority as high as $10 million. Mr. Hansrote holds B.S. degrees in both Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Option and Biology with a Chemistry Minor, as well as an A.S. in Architecture.
