Biography

Most recently serving as a Senior VP of R&D at DFINE, Inc., Kirti was an Executive Vice President at Microfabrica, Inc. Before that, from 2007 to 2008, Kirti was a Senior Vice President of R&D for VNUS Medical Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded company that developed, manufactured, and sold an RF ablation catheter system to treat venous reflux disease. From 2003 to 2007, Kirti served as a Senior Vice President at Cardiac Dimensions, Inc., an early-stage company developing mitral valve repair technology. From 1998 to 2003, Kirti was Vice President of Research & Development and Manufacturing at Vascular Architects, Inc., a manufacturer of implantable devices used to treat peripheral vascular occlusive disease. Prior to working at Vascular Architects, Kirti held various R&D positions at Guided Medical Systems, Cardiac Pathways, Mallinckrodt Medical, C.R. Bard, and Advanced Cardiovascular Systems (now Guidant), developing various cardiovascular catheters. Kirti holds a B.S. from Gujarat University (India), a M.S. from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and an Executive M.B.A. from the University of Houston.
