Biography
Sam brings more than 30 years of medical device industry experience to Shockwave Medical. Most recently Sam served as Senior Vice President of Operations & Manufacturing at AngioScore, Inc. (Spectranetics). He also held Vice President of Operations and/or R&D positions at Broncus Technologies, Access Closure, Radiant Medical and PercuSurge (Medtronic). In addition to his experience in operations, Sam has served in R&D and engineering capacities with Edwards Labs (Baxter) and Guidant. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from California State University at Long Beach and an M.A. in Management from the University of Redlands.
