Kim Chiang Png

Biography

Mr. Png Kim Chiang has been the Chief Executive Officer of SIA Engineering Company Limited since April 1, 2015 and served as its Executive Vice President of Operations from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2015. Mr. Chiang served as the President of SIA Engineering Co., Ltd. from April 1, 2015 to October 9th 2015. He served as Senior Vice President of Aircraft & Component Services at SIA Engineering Co. Ltd. from April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010. He has been Director at SIA Engineering Company Limited since November 01, 2016. Mr. Png was responsible for base maintenance and workshops operations at SIA. He joined SIA as an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in 1975. Mr. Png served as Senior Vice President of Commercial at SIA Engineering Company Limited since September 1, 2005 and served as its Senior Vice President of Services since 2001. He was responsible for the Marketing & Sales, Planning and Engineering & IT divisions at SIA. He served various departments of the Engineering Division of SIA and served as its Vice President of Engineering Supplies since 1998. He served as Director of Tiger Airways Holdings Limited from September 6, 2007 to June 1, 2009. Mr. Png holds a Bachelor of Science in Computation (Honours) degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology as well as a Master in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
