Biography

 Mr. Thomas J. Miller, Jr., also known as Tom, is the Co-Founder of GreyBird Ventures, LLC. Mr. Miller served as the Chief Executive Officer of Workflow and Solutions Division at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc., where he was responsible for all downstream activities regarding healthcare, IT and new services for 26,000 employees in more 130 countries. Mr. Miller Co-founded LightLab Imaging LLC and served as its Chief Executive Officer. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services Corporation. Mr. Miller served as the President of IT Division at Siemens Medical Solutions Group. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Analogic Corporation since October 1999 and its Chief Executive Officer since February 1, 2001. He became the Chief Executive Officer of a German factory and business unit of Siemens Medical Systems. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of National Grid Wireless Limited. Mr. Miller served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the global medical operations of Carl Zeiss AG. He served as Group Vice President of Imaging Systems for Siemens Medical Systems' North American operations from 1995 to 1997. During his academic career, Mr. Miller worked at Los Alamos, Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Massachusetts General Hospital as a research associate in radiation biophysics. He serves as the Chairman of LightLab Imaging LLC. He serves as the Chairman of NinePoint Medical, Inc. and has been its Independent Director since March 2014. He serves as a Director of VisionGate, Inc. Mr. Miller has been an Independent Director at KEW Group LLC since April 1, 2015. He has been a Director of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. since July 1, 2007. Mr. Miller serves as a Director of Zargis Medical Corp. He serves as Director of Ceres Nanosciences, Inc. He served as a Director of National Grid Wireless Limited, Merge Healthcare Canada Corp., Analogic Corporation and Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services Corporation. Mr. Miller served as a Member of Executive Management Board of Siemens Medical Solutions Group since July 1, 2006 and as a member of the operating board of Siemens Healthcare. He served as a Director of Photoelectron Corp., since April 2001. He has been featured in Diagnostic Imaging magazine in its cover story on "The 20 Most Influential People in Diagnostic Radiology". Mr. Miller is fluent in German. He holds a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and a S. M. in Medical Radiological Physics from the Joint Program in Health Sciences and Technology of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Medical School in 1982.
