Biography
Mr. Saunders assumed his current role in 2015 after seven years as chief financial officer of John Morrell Food Group, a former Smithfield independent operating company. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the food industry. Mr. Saunders joined John Morrell in 2002 after 10 years at Indiana Packers. He began his career at Hormel Foods Corporation in 1986.
