Biography
Mr. Sullivan joined Smithfield Foods in 2003 as vice president of internal audit after 12 years at large public accounting and consulting firms. He took on the role of chief accounting officer in 2007 and vice president of finance in 2010. Chief financial officer starting in 2013, Mr. Sullivan was promoted to the position of president and chief operating officer in 2015. He became Smithfield's CEO in January 2016.
