David Ebsworth

Biography

 David recently retired as CEO of Galenica AG and its subsidiary Vifor Pharma Ltd, and joined SFI’s Board following its acquisition of Potter’s Herbals. Prior to this, David has served as CEO of Oxford Glycosciences PLC and as Head of Pharma Business at Bayer AG. In addition, David has served as Chairman and Board member for a number of companies based in the US, Germany, Austria, Italy, Netherlands, UK and Japan. David is also currently Chairman of Verona Pharma PLC, a drug development company listed on the London AIM market. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and German as well as a PhD in comparative Industrial Relations from the University of Surrey, where he is also a visiting Professor at the University of Surrey’s Business School.
