Biography
Mr. Rodger D. Fuller has been Senior Vice President of Paper/Engineered Carriers U.S./Canada and Display & Packaging at Sonoco Products Company since January 3, 2017. Mr. Fuller has responsibility for Sonoco Products’ Paper and Engineered Carriers businesses, including 12 uncoated recycled paper mills, 24 recovered paper recycling facilities, 40 tube and core converting facilities and 16 wire and cable reels centers, serving customers throughout the U.S. and Canada. In addition, he leads the Sonoco Products’ Display and Packaging business, which operates 25 manufacturing and packaging facilities in the United States, Mexico, Poland and Brazil. Combined, these businesses have annual sales of $1.6 billion and 8,000 associates. He served as Group Vice President of Paper and Industrial Converted Products - Americas at Sonoco Products Co. since December 2015 until December 5, 2016 and previously served as its Vice President of Global Primary Materials Group since February 2015 until December 2015 and served as its Group Vice President of Paper/Tubes and Cores - North America from January 1, 2013 to February 2015. Mr. Fuller served as Vice President of Global Rigid Paper & Plastics - Consumer Packaging Segment at Sonoco Products Co. from February 2011 to January 1, 2013. Mr. Fuller served as Vice President of Global Rigid Paper and Closures of Sonoco Products Co., since March 19, 2008 until February 2011. He served as the Vice President of Rigid Paper and Plastics for North America of Sonoco Products since February 3, 2005 until 2008 and served as its Division Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Products Division for North America Division from 2000 to 2005. Mr. Fuller joined Sonoco Products in 1985. He also served positions with Sonoco as Division Vice President of Consumer Products Division - Europe, President of Sonoco Limited, Canada and Manufacturing Manager of Consumer Products Division - North America. He is active in industry and community service organizations, including serving on the board of the Paper and Packaging Board, American Forest and Paper Association and the Hartsville United Way. Mr. Fuller graduated from Berry College, Rome, Georgia, in 1983 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and holds an MBA from Emory University in 1985.
