Biography
Prof. James Julson is a professor in the department of Agricultural Engineering at South Dakota state University. He has completed his Ph.D.from University of Nebraska Lincoln in Engineering in 1998, while M.S.from South Dakota State University Agricultural Engineering, 1977, and B.S.from South Dakota State University Agricultural Engineering, 1975. He has the professional Membership from ASAE, IFT, National and SD Corn Growers Association and National and SD Soybean Growers Association
Research Interest
Generally in the area of enhancing the value of South Dakota's agricultural commodities specifically the utilization of ozone to reduce microbial populations in meat, Value enhancement of raw inputs as well as the by-products of S.D. dry milling ethanol industry, Utilization of agricultural fibers in the formation of fiber based and fiber plastic composites
