Biography
Todd Trooien is a professor in the department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at South Dakota state University. He has done his PhD in Agricultural Engineering in the year of 1988 from Colorado State University, has done MS Agricultural Engineering in 1985, SDSU and BS in Agricultural Engineering in 1983, SDSU. He has taught various courses including Natural Resources Engineering (ABE 434), Soil and Water Mechanics (AST 333), Engineering Tools for ABE (ABE 132), Advanced Irrigation Engineering (ABE 734), Advanced Hydrology for Agriculture (ABE 732), and others.
Research Interest
Management of and water quality impacts of animal wastes and wastewater, Irrigation management for crop production, Water and drainage management for crop production.
