Lewis Copeland

Biography

 Lewis Copeland is President of Southern Earth Sciences, Inc. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida. Mr. Copeland holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama where he was the President of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Lewis, a native Mobilian, began his career with SESI immediately after graduation in 1991. He has previously held positions as Vice President, Staff Geotechnical Engineer, Drilling Department Manager and Materials Testing Department Manager. Lewis serves as our Nuclear Safety Officer and our AASHTO Laboratory Certification Director. He is a member of ASCE, ASPE, ACEC and AGC.
