Biography
Dr. Pense is originally from Tacoma, Washington. After serving 4 years in the U.S. Navy, he completed his B.S. and Masters degrees in California at U.C. Davis. He taught high school agriculture at Palm Springs, California and later taught in China for over twelve years. His Ph.D. was completed in 2002 at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Pense has served at SIUC as professor of Agricultural Education and Communications since 2003.
