Biography
Aniruddha Bagchi is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University, GA, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.Some of his work is inter-disciplinary in nature (such as in Industrial Engineering) and has appeared in International Journal of Production Economics. Recently, he has diversified into issues relating to Law Enforcement and Homeland Security. In this area, his research has been published in Operations Research, European Journal of Operational Research and Defence & Peace Economics. Aniruddha teaches Microeconomics at the MBA and BBA levels at Kennesaw State University.
Research Interest
One of his areas of research is Industrial Economics. In particular, he is interested in examining the processes and institutions that encourage innovative activity. He has also written on the effect of regulation and economic outcomes. His work has appeared in journals such as Canadian Journal of Economics and Southern Economic Journal.Also Law Enforcement and Homeland Security are his areas of interest.
