Biography
Ermal Shhpuza studies the evolution of Mediterranean cities, interaction between boundary shape and circulation network in buildings and cities, shape description, and effects of building floorplate on daylight. He teaches urban design studios, and courses in spatial analysis, urban ecology, and urban design theory. He received his architectural professional degree from Polytechnic University of Tirana, MSc in Architecture from the Bartlett, University College London, and PhD in Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Research Interest
Ermal Shpuza’s research interests span across architectural and urban morphology, complex systems in cities, urban history, workplace design and design computing.
