Biography
Since joining Spectrum in 1990 from Georgetown University Hospital, Dr. Boehlke has held the positions of site medical director, pediatric medical director, regional medical director, leading to his current leadership role as chief medical officer. He also continues to practice as a military treatment facility contract physician and serves as a primary care manager at the United States Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr. Boehlke received his bachelor’s degree in Biology/Chemistry from Oral Robert University in Tulsa Oklahoma and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine, both at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.

James is a Board-Certified Pediatrician with 20+ years of military healthcare experience. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the company as chief medical officer for Spectrum Healthcare Resources.
