James Lasher

Biography

Jim has more than 30 years of experience in the transit industry. He is an expert in the development, planning, and design of mixed-use transit stations. Jim works closely with stakeholders to blend transit into communities and provide enhancements to transit facilities with a full range of mixed-uses. He has worked with newly formed small and midsize transit agencies and is an expert in using FTA/FHWA funds, developing strong public/private relationships, and creating successful transit oriented developments. Jim has worked with numerous clients on land use planning, federal funding applications, property selection and acquisition, design and construction administration. His projects represent more than $150 million in federal funding and 80+ acres of mixed-use, transit-oriented development.
