Biography
ean Meyer, MSN, RN, is President & CEO of St. John Providence Health System. Meyer has more than 27 years experience in Catholic Health Care including front-line patient care experience as a registered nurse and senior leadership experience within a large health system. Prior to her role as President & CEO, Meyer served as President of Acute Care Operations and Executive Vice President for the St. John Providence Health System, and previously the President of Providence Park Hospital from 2008 to 2011. Providence Park is the newest of the SJPHS hospitals, and one of Michigan’s most innovative inpatient settings. Previously, Meyer held the position of Senior Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Officer for the St. John Providence Health System and Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, where she spent 15 years in various leadership roles. Meyer began her career as an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist in Chicago, IL. She received a bachelor’s degree in public health education from the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse. She completed her work for a bachelor’s degree in nursing as well as her master’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago.
