Research Interest
The role of institutionalized racism, sexism, heterosexism and other oppressive ideologies in the paradigms of psychology and practice of psychotherapy in organized mental health. Understanding psychological resilience and vulnerability in socially marginalized people and their use in psychotherapy. Examining social privilege and marginalization via the development of multiple identity paradigms as more complex ways of understanding human identity. Using psychotherapy and psychological science to facilitate social justice.
