Biography

Donna Peehl is Professor Emerita of the Department of Urology. She completed her B.S. from Stanford University in Biology (1974) and Ph.D. from University of Colorado in Biology (1979).

Research Interest

Development of tissue slice cultures to recapitulate the normal epithelial-stromal interactions in human Prostate Cancers in an animal model. Using this platform to study variations in the androgen receptor, discovery of Prostate Cancer specific cell surface molecules, and testing the efficacy of a novel arsenical compound.
