Biography
I have worked at LPCH/Stanford for 20 years. There have been many changes to the division since then, and we have grown substantially. I am the medical director of pediatric lung and heart-lung transplantation. The program began in 2004, and by learning from Dr. Norm Shumway and Dr. Bruce Reitz, we are now a stand alone pediatric lung transplant center since 2009. Through my various interests in lung inflammation and transplantation, my research interests have evolved to study of bronchiolitis obliterans/CLAD in lung transplant recipients, and participate in ongoing NIH- sponsored clinical trials in lung transplantation.
