Biography
Sui Wang is a Professor in Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University,USA.She is a member of Stanford Neurosciences Institute. Her research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that underlie retinal diseases, e.g. diabetic retinopathy, and retinal development, via dissection of gene regulatory networks. They are interested in uncovering how different types of retinal cells, including retinal neurons, glia and the vasculature, respond to disease insults and developmental cues at the epigenomic and transcriptional levels, and how they interact with each other and collectively contribute to the integrity of the retina.
