Dave Calder

Biography

 Dave’s areas of expertise include industrial engineering analysis and design, process mechanical engineering (steam, chilled water, and compressed air), automotive manufacturing engineering, and design of building mechanical systems—this included being part of a major model launch for Toyota. When it comes to manufacturing engineering, Dave specializes in product launch, current production, and special projects. Inspired by the teachings of the Dalai Lama, Dave is a natural leader, able to build genuine, long-term relationships with clients and assemble successful, multi-disciplinary teams to meet his client’s needs. After nearly 20 years at Stantec, Dave continues to admire the company for its ability to align actions with values, and lives his life outside of work doing the same. In his community, Dave supports the local minor baseball association, giving kids the opportunity to participate and build lasting character.
