Research Interest
I am interested in the research and development of algorithms for human motion capturing with inertial sensors. Therefore, I combine physical and statistical models with sensor models and data. To achieve this, I apply means of: Applied Mathematics (modeling and solving dynamical systems, numerical optimization, numerical algorithms for differential equations) Control and Computer Science (system identification, parameter estimation, sensor fusion, machine learning) Physics (mechanics, multibody systems, kinematics, dynamics)
