Biography
Alan Dewart is the President of Seneca Development & Management Corporation and has been actively involved in real estate development and management since 1968. As Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, he teaches a course on the financial aspects of real estate development. He holds an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and is experienced in real estate development, financial feasibility analysis, management, and syndication. In the mid 1970’s, he was employed by New York State Urban Development Corporation as Director of Marketing and Residential Development at its Audubon New Community in Amherst, New York. Prior to his work with NYS UDC, he operated a homebuilding company constructing and selling upwards of one hundred homes annually in Erie County.
