Biography
Steph Cramer studied Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (BArch 2006) and received the post-professional degree Design + Make from the Architectural Association, London (MArch, 2014). Her research focuses on the relationship between Drawing and Making, expansion of the role of the Architect in construction, and a deep interest in self-build architectural experiments. Her early research includes international sustainable design practices in Italy, the unique urban challenges of ancient Moroccan cities, and contemporary nomadic culture in Ireland. She spent 7 years working for the internationally acclaimed architects, Behnisch Architekten in both their Stuttgart Germany and Los Angeles offices as project architect on many award winning projects and competitions.
