Biography
Richard Medlin grew up in DeLand and attended Stetson University as an undergraduate, majoring in psychology and participating in the Honors Program. He graduated summa cum laude and received the Algernon Sidney Sullivan Award in 1975. After earning a Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Medlin returned to Stetson University and has been teaching in the psychology department since 1981.
