Biography
Can Ozturk is a behavioral researcher who studies the impact of mobile technologies in global development. He is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Technology and Society. Dr. Ozturk’s interdisciplinary research focuses on the impact of information and communication technologies on sustainable development, technology entrepreneurship for social change and health behavior change programs in developing countries. As an international development expert, he took part in many technical assistance missions to Africa, funded by World Bank, USAID, PEPFAR, CDC, Gates Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation. Can Ozturk holds a PhD in Development Economics and International Development from Tulane University.
