Sheldon Reaven is Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director as well as Director of Environmental and Waste Management Concentration.
Research Interest
Industrial, institutional, and municipal waste management, pollution prevention, and environmental regulatory compliance, Recycling and waste minimization (various materials, products, and businesses), Environmental comparisons of materials and products (e.g., plastic vs. wood lumber), Risk, energy, and environmental life-cycle analysis Integrated environmental design, Assessment of new environmental and energy technologies, Radioactive waste management and nuclear power safety, Diagnosis of scientific, methodological, and policy disputes concerning all the above topics and concerning major environmental controversies generally, History and philosophy of science, technology, and society; technology assessment; environmental education and science literacy.
