David M. Duerr

Biography

 Mr. David M. Duerr is a Founding Partner at Focus Equity Partners, LLC. Previously, Mr. Duerr was a General Partner and Principal at the firm. He manages the firm's day-to-day operations. During his career, Mr. Duerr has been a successful entrepreneur, business leader, investor and board member in several successful businesses. He co-founded Straight North, LLC and serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. He serves as Partner of Straight North, LLC. Prior to this, Mr. Duerr founded three businesses: Officite LLC, Workspace, and Code Red LLC. He was the Chief Financial Officer and Director at C&M Pharmacy, LLC. He was also employed at Pro Stock Hockey, LLC. Mr. Duerr serves as the Chairman of the Board at Officite LLC and a Director at Duffy Design Works LLC, Worknet Inc., and BOB LLC. He is also on the Advisory Board for the Center of Professional Excellence at Elmhurst College and has been selected to participate over the next three years in the YEO, MIT, and INC. Magazine select entrepreneurial program "The Birthing of Giants". Mr. Duerr was honored by The Business Ledger, recognizing the 40 top business leaders under the age of 40 in their annual Tomorrows Leaders Today issue. He holds a B.A. in Advertising from Valparaiso University in 1988.
