Peter A. Thompson

Biography

 Dr. Peter A. Thompson, M.D., FACP, founded Strategicon Partners and serves as its Managing Director. Dr. Thompson has been Private Equity Partner with OrbiMed Advisors, L.L.C since 2013 and was a Venture Partner since September 2010. He co-founded Cleave Biosciences, Inc. and Corvus Pharmaceuticals. He was a Co-founder of Emergent Product Development Seattle LLC and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from May 2002 to November 16, 2009. He served as Treasurer of Emergent Product Development Seattle, LLC since December 2002. He served as the Executive Chairman of Response Biomedical Corp. since August 09, 2011 until August 2014 and its Interim Chief Executive Officer from August 9, 2011 to April 2012. Dr. Thompson was a Venture Partner at ATP Capital from 2003 to 2006. He co-founded Trubion Pharmaceuticals and served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman from 2002 to 2009. Dr. Thompson co-founded Converge Medical, Inc.
