Timothy Scannell

Biography

 Timothy J. Scannell became Group President, MedSurg & Neurotechnology on January 1, 2013. The leaders of the Craniomaxillofacial (CMF), Endoscopy, Healthcare Systems, Instruments, Medical, Neurovascular and Sustainability Solutions divisions report to Tim. Mr. Scannell began his career with us in 1990.  During eleven years with our Endoscopy division, he served in various sales and marketing leadership roles and progressed to the position of Executive Vice President overseeing sales, marketing and operations.  He then became Vice President and General Manager of our Biotech division in 2001.  In 2003 he became Vice President and General Manager of our Spine division and later to President of Spine.  He became the Group President of Spine and Endoscopy in 2008 and Group President, MedSurg & Spine in August of 2009.  Mr. Scannell serves on the Board of Directors for Insulet Corporation, the leader in tubeless insulin pump technology with its OmniPod® Insulin Management System.
