Greg Bokar

Biography

Greg Bokar joined Sunovion in April 2015 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Greg provides executive leadership for all aspects of the Legal Affairs function and the Board of Directors. Mr. Bokar has significant domestic and international legal experience in transactions, corporate matters, governance, intellectual property, litigation, HR, insurance, compliance and M&A. Previously, Mr. Bokar served as Chief Legal Officer for Elan Pharmaceuticals LLC U.S., where he provided legal counsel for Elan's global biopharmaceutical business and managed both a domestic and international legal team. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bokar served as Senior Legal Director for aaiPharma Inc. in Wilmington, NC, as Senior Attorney with Argonne National Laboratories in Argonne, IL and as Associate Counsel with the U.S. Navy in China Lake, CA. Mr. Bokar holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry, an M.B.A. from Cleveland State University and a J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. A licensed attorney in four states, he also is a registered patent lawyer, licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
