Biography
I am an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. I received my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University in August 2010. My dissertation was supervised by Prof. Y. Charlie Hu. Previously, I received my Bachelor's degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). My research interests are broadly in experimental wireless networking and mobile computing, with a focus on high performance/power-aware protocol design and implementation, testbed prototyping, network measurements, and novel wireless applications. I lead the UB Wireless Networking and Systems Lab (UB WiNS Lab). I received the NSF CAREER Award in 2016, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Early Career Researcher of the Year Award in 2015, and the CSE Early Career Faculty Teaching Award in 2015.
