Biography
Dr. Joseph F. Atkinson pursued his Bachelor degree in Independent Program of Studies Harvey Mudd College in the year 1973. Later he carried out his Master degree in the year 1979 from Cornell University in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. In the year 1985 he carried out his Ph.D work in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute. In 2000 he worked as Adjunct Research Professor, Department of Geography and Planning, Buffalo State College, Buffalo, New York. Later he became Division Head, Environmental and Hydrosystems Engineering, Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering. Later in 1998 he was promoted as Professor, Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering, University at Buffalo
