Biography
Dr. Kamelia Atefi Monfared pursued her Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran from 2001-2006. Later she carried out her Master degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) the year 2007 from the University of Waterloo, ON, Canada. In the year 2010 she carried out her Ph.D work in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) from University of Waterloo, ON, Canada. She started her career in University of Waterloo as Sessional Instructor. Later she joined University at Buffalo, Buffalo, New York as Assistant Professor.
