Biography
Dr. Michael C. Constantinou pursued his Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from University of Patras, Greece in the year 1980. Later he carried out his Master degree in the year 1981 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the department of Civil Engineering. In the year 1984 he carried out his Ph.D work in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He started his career as Assistant Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, Drexel University, Philadelphia. Later started working as Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, University at Buffalo, State University of New York from 1987 to 1989. He was then promoted as Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, University at Buffalo, State University of New York in the 1989. In 1994 he became the Professor and in 2014 he also became SUNY Distinguished Professor, Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering.
