Biography
Dr. Qing He is currently the Stephen Still Assistant Professor in Transportation Engineering and Logistics, affiliated with both Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering at University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. He obtained his PhD degree from Systems and Industrial Engineering at University of Arizona in 2010. Prior to joining faculty, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in IBM T J Watson Research Center, where he has been working on some Smarter Transportation projects from 2010 to 2012. His research vision is to develop a multimodal, multidimensional transportation and logistics systems with new information technology, using a broad range of techniques, including optimization, control, simulation, and statistics.
