Biography
Joseph J. Stich is Vice President and General Manager of the InVitro Diagnostics business unit. Joe joined Surmodics in March 2010 as Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy and was named Vice President of Marketing, Corporate Development and Strategy in October 2010. Prior to Surmodics, he was Vice President, Corporate Development for Abraxis Bioscience. Joe has 23 years of diverse commercial and business development experience within the biopharmaceutical industry. He also worked at Eisai Pharmaceuticals (MGI PHARMA, Inc.), in capacities of Business Development and Vice President Sales. Prior experience also includes serving as President/COO of Pharmaceutical Corp. of America (a subsidiary of Publicis Healthcare Specialty Group), and positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing at Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals. Joe received a BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in 1988, and an MBA from Rockhurst University in Kansas City in 1996.
