Walt Van Heest

Biography

 Walt leads the Investment Services group, directing Sperry Van Ness|Northco Real Estate Services’ investment and asset management activities. As one of SVN|Northco’s two owners, he oversees the property management and construction management groups and is liaison to our strategic partners and joint venture investment relationships. In these roles, Walt works with our clients to develop and implement sound business plans to maximize property and investment performance. Prior to joining SVN|Northco Real Estate Services Walt was with Cargill Financial Services where his responsibilities included the acquisition, asset management and disposition of commercial properties on a national portfolio. Before moving to Cargill, he directed GE Capital’s Chicago asset management office and was responsible for a $2 billion portfolio of debt and equity investments.
