Kenneth C. Runnels

Biography

 Mr. Kenneth C. Runnels, also known as Ken, has been an Executive Vice President of Fleet Operations at Swift Transportation Company since June 2011. Mr. Runnels's current responsibilities include overseeing all of the Dry, Dedicated and Linehaul operations. He served as an Executive Vice President of Eastern Region at Swift Transportation Company from November 2007 to August 2011 and served as its Executive Vice President of Operations since December 2007. He served as an Executive Vice President of Eastern Region at Swift Transportation Co. of Arizona LLC at Swift Transportation Company since November 2007. He began his career with Swift Transportation in 1983 as a log auditor and over the next few years was quickly promoted through various operations positions and was promoted to Terminal Manager in March of 1989. He served as Vice President of Fleet Operations, Regional Vice President and various operations management positions from 1983 to June 2006. Mr. Runnels served as Vice President of Operations with U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc.
